According to sources close to the Canadian Motor Speedway project in Ft. Erie, Ontario, it's getting close to decision time at Ft. Erie City Council, where they are receiving input from citizens and groups who are in favour of, and opposed to, the building of the facility.Is there a chance that someone could be inconvenienced by the building of The Canadian Motor Speedway along the QEW near Ft. Erie? Of course. But if we - as a society - never built anything because a small group of people were against it.... nothing... no roads or buildings... would ever be built. The bottom line is that the CMS will create jobs and place a world-class motorsports and entertainment facility in a place that could sorely use a boost.
