In his column today, Toronto Star / Wheels writer Norris McDonald talks with (and about) Andrew Ranger on his 'career' year in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, in 2009.
After that, McDonald interviews AIM Autosports' Ian Willis about his plans to get his Woodbridge, ON-based, championship road racing operation into NCATS, possibly with a two-car operation (funding permitting).
I did a double-take when I saw Ian chatting with people on the grid at the final Canadian Tire Series race of the season, in late-September, at Kawartha Speedway. Now it makes sense.
UPDATE: For those interested in watching Ranger honoured tonight in Charlotte, it's being streamed at: www.nascarhometracks.com.
