Daytona 500 benefit party for Barrie racer Garry Reynolds

Dave Bradley sent me a note about a benefit party to be held Feb. 14 in honour of former Barrie Speedway Late Model champion Garry Reynolds, who is battling cancer. See Dave's note below:

"Barrie Speedway Late Model driver Garry Reynolds is battling cancer, and we'd like to help out. We are hosting an event to raise money to help Garry and his family during this difficult time. Please join us to kick off the 2010 NASCAR season on February 14th. Come and watch the Daytona 500 at the HorsePower Sports Bar and BBQ Grill at the Barrie Molson Centre.

There will be lots of prizes, a silent auction and of course some great racing on the big screens! Tickets are only $10. All proceeds will be donated to Garry and his family. Tickets are available at Bayside Auto or at the Barrie Colts office at the Barrie Molson Centre. Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing you on February 14th! Doors open around noon, and tickets will be available at the door."
