KAWARTHA DURHAM KART CLUB: Hershey Grand Prix Press Release

4th Annual Grand Prix – August 8 & 9, 2009

Toronto Kart Club in conjunction with Kawartha Durham Kart Club is pleased to announce the 4th annual 2009 Hershey Centre Grand Prix.  This event is to be held in the south parking lot of the Hershey Centre in Mississauga on a temporary course that was designed in conjunction with Supermoto Canada and the Toronto Kart Club.  This track has been proven to be technically challenging, fast, and has been an integral part of an action packed weekend of racing.  The entire weekend is open to the general public for the viewing of the races.  However, if you wish to see the karts up close, a paddock pass is available for a nominal fee.

Both hosting clubs are very excited to offer karting enthusiasts and racers alike a unique racing venue within the GTA in a very cost effective way.  Our goal this year is to make this event even more accessible and enjoyable for everyone than ever before.  Drivers of all ages will be competing in this event with some venturing into higher levels of racing such as Formula 1200/1600/2000, Formula BMW and yes, even Formula One.

With the support of the media community, the popularity of this event is growing each year.  With your help again this year, we are certain this year’s event will be the best ever.
