KEVIN HARVICK INC. DEVELOPMENT DRIVER CALE GALE TESTS AT MOSPORT IN PREPARATION FOR THE MOSPORT SPEEDWAY 200
(BOWMANVILLE, ON – July 22, 2009) Cale Gale turned a few laps at Canada’s Fastest Half-Mile Oval as the young Kevin Harvick Inc. development driver prepares to make his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debut in the Mosport Speedway 200 on August 8.
“The test was good. We picked up some speed in the car and I’m looking forward to coming up to Mosport,” Gale said. “We want to be competitive right away and hope to run up front with top guys in the Series.”
In addition to Mosport, the 24-year old Mobile, Alabama native will drive the No. 13 Rheem Chevrolet for Farwell Racing Inc. at four additional NASCAR Canadian Tire Series events later this year. Gale has also raced in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for a team co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick.
Advance tickets for the Mosport Speedway 200 are just $25 until August 5 ($30 at the Gate) and parking is free. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paid adult admission.
