Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship: Hype Energy and JL Racing

JL Racing partners with Hype Energy

JL Racing announced today a partnership agreement with Hype Energy. JL Racing will carry the Hype Energy logo on the #92 2005 Saab 93 Sport Sedan driven by P.J. Groenke in the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship at the Honda Indy Toronto and the GP3R in Trois Rivieres. Hype Energy will also adorn the #93 2008 Saab 93 Sport Sedan of John Lockhart which will debut later this season.

“I am so excited about this opportunity to partner with Hype Energy”, said John Lockhart, Team Principal and Driver for JL Racing, “Hype Energy is a leader in the energy drink industry with a very strong presence in motorsports which has really enhanced its brand. We are honored to be chosen as a partner to help expand Hype’s market share and brand awareness.

Upon finalizing this partnership, Jon Silver the company president made the following statement, "Having just agreed to become involved with the JL Racing Team, we here at Les Aliments Unique Foods (which distributes HYPE Energy drinks across Canada) could not be more pleased with this opportunity and the multi-level exposure we expect to receive by working with such a talented group of individuals, as an on going part of our corporate marketing strategy."

Look for the JL Racing Saab 93s and the Hype Energy Crew at events during the Honda Indy Toronto and GP3R in Trois Rivieres for the 2009 season. Plans are being put into motion for a full season program in 2010.
