Grand Bend Motorplex will close the 2009 race season with a bang. The final race of the season is the annual OCTOBERFAST FALL CLASSIC (over $20,000 in cash & prizes.) The weekend Oct 2-4th will consist of a Friday night Test & Tune program, with Saturday being an IHRA “IRONMAN” RACE , IHRA Ironman trophies are up for grabs in 5 classes - Top, Mod, Bike/Sled, Street and the Junior class. Saturday night will include a GBM sponsored “Thank You” racers, Beef on the Bun barbecue.
Sunday will consist of the same 5 classes racing for the largest purses of the year. Top and Mod are each $2000 to win, Street and Bike $600 to win. Entry for the weekend is only $115/class (including Friday’s Test & Tune) $60 for Juniors. Sat only entry is $55, Sun only $65. Juniors $30/day.
