Soft Pauer: Official F1 Timing and Track Positioning Application for the iPhone and iPod touch update

Just like the F1 teams, Soft Pauer, developers of an official F1 Timing and Track Positioning Application for the iPhone and iPod touch, are constantly looking at every angle to improve performance.

For the 2009 Formula 1 Telefonica Grand Prix of Europe, the fourth race since the Application’s official launch, Soft Pauer is pleased to announce the following upgrades to its package.

*               Pause, fast forward and rewind functions to improve the experience and enable easy synchronization to tape delayed races when using the playback function.
*               Time gap between your chosen driver and every other driver in the field, updated each lap.
*               Lap time differences between your chosen driver and the rest of the field available for every lap of the race.

All these new features are available at the reduced total price of 9.99GBP for the remaining seven races of the 2009 season.

So you may not be able to see what Michael Schumacher is up to, but there’s no better way to find out how real Lewis Hamilton’s resurgence is, and whether Kimi Raikkonen can continue to mix it up with Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, and under-pressure front-runner Jenson Button.

What’s more, the 3G coverage in Valencia will allow unprecedented access for spectators at the circuit. So there’ll never be a better opportunity to add an extra dimension to the Grand Prix-viewing experience, via your iPhone.

Commenting on the Application, Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel, said “I like to analyse my races to see where I could have done things better. This application allows me to analyse each race using both the dynamic circuit map and the live timing, and that helps to explain why certain things happened.”

*               An Official F1TM Timing and Track Positioning Application is available for iPhone and iPod touch users with 3G or WiFi coverage.
*               To provide the service, SofPauer has a dedicated set of servers and team of engineers working every race weekend.
*               The application can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store and via the following link: http://www.softpauer.com/f1app/link.html
