New ADVAN Neova AD08 builds on maximum performance reputation

The new ADVAN Neova AD08 from Yokohama is a maximum performance radial tire designed specifically for enthusiasts in highly sophisticated performance cars who seek the highest level of grip and control in a tire that can perform dual duty in weekend competition and daily street use.

The new Neova AD08 takes the place of the ADVAN Neova ultra high performance tire that garnered rave reviews and a loyal following among performance enthusiasts when it was first introduced in 2007.

A new tread design, new compound and new steel sidewall inserts are just some of the refinements that push the Neova AD08 to the forefront among ultra high performance tires.
The new micro silica compound with Hyper Density Carbon (HDC) advances the state-of-the-art of extreme performance thanks to the combination of more, smaller size silica particles and high-grip carbon to create massive traction in hot, dry conditions as well as cool, wet conditions.
Building on the reputation of the original Neova, the AD08 boasts good wet performance thanks to two large circumferential grooves and HydroArc channels in the shoulders, while the structural design of the tire optimizes the tire’s contact surface with the road.

Lotus Cars selected the previous Yokohama ADVAN Neova as original equipment fitment on the new Lotus Elise. The ADVAN Neova AD08 will be available in October, 2009, through Yokohama tire retailers across Canada.
