CANADIAN KARTING LEAGUE NEWSLETTER - The Canadian Karting League is hosting an open house at the Innisfil Indy Track this weekend, March 27 from 10am-4pm. We encourage all members and potential members to come out and see what we have to offer. The karts will be on display and Innisfil Indy has some equipment specials that will run throughout the day.

The big news is that the seasonal promotional membership offer expires at 4pm on March 27 – the day of the open house. At 4pm on Saturday we will have a draw for two (2) Toronto Maple Leaf Platinum tickets to the game against Nashville the following week. To be eligible for the draw, you have to be a paid up member of the Canadian Karting League. The picture shows just how close you are to the action!
›› CKL Training School ready to go
The CKL training school – which is something everyone has to go through before getting their license – is up and running. We are planning to host the first training school on the morning of the open house, March 27th. To register for the school, call 416-312-2900 or email racing@canadiankartingleague.com Once you have completed the training school, you are free to practice at the track when you want to get ready for the first race day.
›› Street race
We have been contacted by a Lion’s club that wants to put on a street race during a festival in late August. We are working hard to see if this event can be put together. If it can, CKL members will make history as the first arrive-and-drive members to race – legally – through city streets. More information to come on this in the next newsletter.
