Brighton Speedway kicked off its 2010 racing season on Thursday with a joint venture display at the Frontenac Mall in Kingston, Ontario. The annual show hosted by the Frontenac Mall is organized and put on by Ed Palmer and Glen Stewart to serve as an early season sneak peak for area racers and fans to look at the line up of new stock cars for the upcoming season.

Many different cars are on display including four Brighton Speedway regulars; Pro Stock rookie Sean Johnson with his #15 Monte Carlo and the #9 Canadian Modified driver Matt Vanderlinden. Showing off their new Pro Late Models are #57 Charlie Sandercock and the #77 Caley Weese.

There are numerous other race cars on display including vintage race cars that will appear at Brighton Speedway on three different occasions throughout the upcoming season. Many DIRTcar Sportsman and DIRTcar 358 Modifieds are also on display and will make regular appearances at the Brockville Speedway but return again during the season ending Applefest Shootout that is shaping up to be even bigger and better in 2010.

Fans, drivers and crews can see these cars on display today through Saturday, March 27th and after that it is on to the Quinte Mall on April 5th through April 11th. After that you will find Brighton Speedway cars at the Northumberland Mall in Cobourg from April 12th until April 16th and then straight onto the Motorsports Expo on the weekend of April 17th and 18th.

The weekend of April 25th and 26th we will be doing triple duty as cars will be on display at the Brighton Country Living Show, the Northumberland Home show in Baltimore as well as in Campbellford at Campbellford Chrysler as they host an open house with Brighton Speedway providing complimentary hot dogs and beverages from 11:30am till 3:00pm. All this excitement leads up to the May 8th Coca Cola Full Throttle season opener. Admission is only $2 with a food donation to the Brighton Food Bank and for that you will receive an exciting night of racing and family entertainment!
