For Immediate Release: April 1st, 2010 - It’s no April fool’s; Goodwood Kartways opens today for its 2010 karting season! Home of the Toronto Racing Association of Karters, the Canadian Rookie Karting Championship and public go-karting, Goodwood Kartways is prepared for the busiest season in its history as it becomes racing home to over one thousand Ontario karters.
“We are all really excited as we embark on a new racing season and our calendar has shaped up very nicely,” said Daniel Di Leo, President of Goodwood Kartways. “We have a nice mix of programs designed for racing enthusiasts across Ontario. Our programs cater to drivers of all ages, and whether they are looking to enjoy a few laps around our track or a complete racing program we will be sure to meet their needs. Regardless of experience, we have the right program for everyone.”
As one of the most active promoters of karting in the country, Goodwood Kartways was incredibly busy during the off-season as members presented the facility and its programs at a number of high-profile shows, and advertised in a variety of media. Responding to public requests for information on everything Goodwood Kartways has to offer, a travelling group was at the Canadian International Auto Show, Canadian Motorsports Expo and the Performance World Car Show. In adding advertising in the Toronto Sun, on the FAN 590, and in My City Explorer, Goodwood Kartways is sure to advance this year in its quest to become Canada’s premiere karting facility.
Goodwood Kartways is open 10am - 8pm every day except Tuesdays from today through November 1st. The first racers to hit the track will be those from the Toronto Racing Association of Karters doing private tests; followed by CRKC Arrive-and-Drive practice sessions beginning April 12th. Public rental go-karting opens on May 1st, once again proving Goodwood Kartways has options for karters of all ages and with any level of experience.
After presenting the 2009 ASN Canadian National Karting Championships last August to great acclaim, Goodwood Kartways will once again be in the national spotlight this May as it hosts the opening two rounds of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship, May 7-9. Many of Canada’s greatest karters will be on hand, and Goodwood Kartways invites you to be as well. For more information on everything the facility has to offer, please visit goodwoodkartways.com
