This Victoria day weekend will see the launch of the Rudy Held’s Performance Centre Extreme 32 Series presented by Armando’s Pizza and Amherst Quarries Ltd . The program is a totally new format for Grand Bend Motorplex as it pits the quickest 32 vehicles in the park against each other . “This is the first time we have had a program open to Door cars, Dragsters, Altereds, and Bikes” says GBM General Manager Ron Biekx “ It will be something new and entertaining for our fans”. The Extreme 32 Series is an 8 race series made up of single day race programs with 2 qualifiers followed by eliminations. Entry fee is $150 with a 100% payout to the racers, plus a Year end points fund thanks to the sponsors. “ There are a lot of great cars out there that can’t quite make the Napa Quick 32 program, so this is a great alternative for them” says GBM owner Paul Spriet.
In addition to the 2 Extreme 32 races, the Rudy Held’s Performance Centre Rockin & Racin wkd presented by Leaf Racewear will feature the opening race of Ontario’s Premier Heads up Street racing Organization, the OSCA, plus GBM Thunder and Junior action, a 300MPH Jet Dragster, with all of this topped off by a great Sunday night concert featuring The Trews.
