INNISFIL, ON - It has been almost two weeks since the Innisfil Indy track (south of Barrie, ON) was repaved. The track is now open for practice. The track looks awesome it has been widened in a few spots and is as smooth as glass. The grid area has been repaved and painted and even the from entrance has been repaved.
This past weekend, the track opened for practice and there were lots of karters who took to the track to test their setups. Everyone had nothing but praise for what the Launi family has done with track and the whole facility.
We urge all IKC members to get out and make some laps so they can work on their kart setup as track has a lot of grip and no bumps. Any racers who are planning to run any of our specials or club races or the Brian Stewart Series should make plans to get a feel for the new surface.
IKC race 4 and 5 is still 2 weeks away but we are very excited to get back on track for this double header weekend.
