Delaware Speedway Insider ... O'TOOLS RENT OR BUY NIGHT
Race Date: May 22, 2009
Making up for lost time!
To say mother nature has not been very cooperative may be an understatement when talking about the season so far at Delaware Speedway. However it's the fans who stand to bennifit from this - - this Friday night we play catch up with double features in the weekly classes!
It’s a double features night with three of our great weekly classes racing in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. A special added treat is the drivers of the Transmission Direct Enduro series coming out to run their first challenge race of the year. The challenge race is a 35-lap race that promises to be a great way to close off the evening. If the race is even half as exciting as the last enduro, we'll be talking about it for a long time! Don’t miss out on the action this Friday night! Gates open at 6:00 pm, racing starts at 8:00 pm.
The New Sound System is Installed!
The speedway has a whole new atmosphere after installation of the brand new sound system was completed last week. Fans we spoke to loved the new depth the sound system offers and how clear everything sounds. See if you notice the difference this week!
Everyone loves toonie hotdogs...
Toonie hotdogs will be available through the main concession stand from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm! Arrive early, find your favourite spot on the hill and head over to the new concession stand and try our brand new hotdogs!
Krown Junior Racing League Starts Next Week!
The 30+ drivers of the Krown Body Maintenance Junior Racing League will hit the track for their first race of the 2009 season this coming Wednesday at 6:30 pm!
